The Brand
6ack6one is a Cape Town accessories house. We make one thing — a vertebra keychain, cast in Benin City brass and finished by hand in Cape Town. Each piece is individually numbered. None are made twice. Collection I arrives December 2026.
Collection I
Each finish is produced in a strictly limited run. Once the edition closes, it does not reopen.
The Object
The vertebra is the smallest piece of the spine. Small enough to be overlooked. Strong enough to hold the whole structure together. We thought it deserved to be carried — not displayed. Something that lives in your pocket, on your keys, on your person. Present every day. Noticed only by those who look closely.

The Craft
Every charm begins as a hand-sculpted clay model. It is then cast in solid metal using the lost-wax process — a technique Benin City metalworkers have refined over six centuries. The leather is selected, cut, and hand-stitched in Cape Town. The edition number is stamped on the charm before assembly.
There are no shortcuts in this process. That is the point.

The Atelier Vertebra is the third piece in Collection I. Cast in sterling silver, individually numbered from one to thirty-three. It is not listed publicly. Ownership requires an application. We review each one personally.
